Tomasetti Tech · Longmont, Colorado

We fix electronics for a living. So we build the kind worth opening.

A repair bench in Longmont that started building its own gear. We open other companies' machines all day and know exactly which decisions were made to keep you out. So we build the opposite: products that open on purpose and get fixed instead of replaced.

the point

Consumer electronics are designed to be replaced. We're building the other kind.

Tomasetti Tech is a repair bench first. We open other companies' machines all day, and we know exactly which decisions were made to keep you out. So our products open on purpose. The parts have names. The fasteners are real. When something breaks, the fix is yours to make or ours to do. Same bench, either way.

One box. Two faces. Yours to flip.

A streaming preamp with a cute face and a sleek face, on the same hardware.

Bright colorways wave hello. Dark colorways disappear.

The knobs press on and off. Designed to open.

swappable compute on a ribbon, a snap-on DAC board, upgrade kits that need no re-soldering: the case is frozen and the board spec is written. Nothing ordered yet.

Tonesetti Stream design render, cute face: light silver faceplate, chunky dark knob, a wave of purple dots across the display, three candy buttons, and the glowing amber tube-window dot Tonesetti Stream design render, sleek face: deep purple hood over a black faceplate with one thin display line, a dark knob, a ghosted wordmark, and the single amber tube-window dot

the amber dot is the tube window. It's on both faces. The one thing the flip never hides.

Two forms. One home.

Character sits on the shelf and has a face.

Ghost hangs on the wall and vanishes until the lights go down.

Same brain in both.

built like a repair bench builds: eight screws and one driver open every unit, the battery swaps like a AA, and nothing we make touches your mains directly.

The instrument the bench wished it had.

A desktop test station that listens to what your amp does and shows you what it sees.

Built by people who fix things for a living.

The front is for hands. The back is for wires.

it exists so every repair carries before-and-after proof, and every Stream unit gets tested on the station it was designed next to.

the bench

Products from a repair bench are different.

When you fix machines for a living, you learn which parts fail, which fasteners fight you, and which companies glued the thing shut on purpose. Every product on this site is an answer to something we got tired of. Designed to open. Documented enough to fix. Built by the same people who will fix it if you'd rather not.

built here

We couldn't afford shop software. So we built it.

Every tool below exists because the market's answers were locked boxes, subscriptions, or the bin. The shop needed software, listeners needed honest audio tools, so this bench wrote its own and paid for it with repairs.

Setti, the shop's AI front desk, mid-call on the screen

Setti, the front desk

The AI receptionist. Answers when we're elbows-deep in a receiver, takes messages, books the calendar, never puts you on hold.

The repair queue in the shop's own CRM: open tickets in order from intake to pickup

The repair queue

Every ticket in the shop, from intake to pickup. Paper never stood a chance.

The desk dashboard: the day's tickets and bookings on one screen, soonest first

The desk dashboard

The whole day on one screen, soonest first. The whiteboard retired.

A customer's repair tracker on a phone, showing the ticket's progress

The repair tracker

Customers watch their own repair move from their phone. The "any update?" call has real competition now.

The counter kiosk on a tablet, waiting for a customer to check in

The counter kiosk

Check in and sign on the tablet at the desk. No clipboard.

The front-desk translator mirrored on the wall TV during a counter conversation

The translator wall

Live translation at the counter, mirrored on the TV above the bench.

The shop's insights page: counts and totals from the repair queue

The numbers

What the shop actually did this month, counted by the software instead of memory.

The books ledger: the shop's accounts, one entry per line

The ledger

The shop's books, written in-house. Every dollar in and out, no subscription.

The wall TV in the shop after closing, running its own loop

The wall, after hours

When the shop closes, the wall TV minds itself.

fund the lab

This is what a repair bench's budget built.

Every product on this site. The software. The shop itself. All of it, self-funded. Imagine it with money.

everything above was built on bench income alone. each product line carries its own back-the-line link, and the fund page is where the next ones come from.
