The Stream is a streaming preamp with two expressions built on one face system. Bright colorways show the whimsy: porthole glow, candy buttons, a display with personality. Dark colorways hide it behind one thin line. Same box either way, and the choice is yours any day.

one face system, two expressions

Pick the mood, not the model.

The cute face is the one that waves: a glowing porthole over the tube, candy buttons, a little display that says hi. The sleek face keeps all of it behind one thin line, invisible until it's lit. It's the same hardware underneath, so you can flip any day. The one thing this face system was designed to never be: generic.

the amber dot is the tube window. It's on both faces. The one thing the flip never hides.

the knob comes off

ORBIT: a thick ring with a little planet riding it. WAVY: dots set into the wall along a sine wave. FACET: a low-poly gem with a silver hairline. GHOST: smooth, with one hidden point of amber. They press on, they pull off, no tools, and which one ships is your call.

The lighter colorways let the cute face be cute: the porthole glows, the buttons are candy, the wave display is out loud. The darker ones go sleek: one thin display line, flush controls, a ghosted wordmark. Every face keeps the amber tube dot. That one never hides.

The bottom plate is the service tray.

The hood lifts off. The board slides out. One small hex key is the entire tool kit. We fix electronics for a living, and we got tired of machines that need a prayer and a spudger to open. This one opens on purpose, and every part inside has a name.
